(but still not at peak flowing because of sore feet). She picked up her pace a bit to have a 'normal' day which is 17 1 6:17 hours of hiking1 hour of prep/cleaning - '.5 hour in morning before hiking; .5 hour in evening for cleaning6 hours of sleepWe haven't had a 'normal' day in a long time so that is a reason for hope.Hope that Mercury continues to possess the resolve and determination to reach Katahdin in 13 days to have an under 50-day thru-hike. She has the roughest, toughest section of the AT looming ahead of her - the White Mts. of NH and the mountains of western Maine.Hope that Pegasus makes it to the end as Jupiter treats its transmission crib/cradle gently.Hope that Jupiter can find places, which are limited, to post Mercury's updates from his laptop.Yesterday's update posting place had Jupiter's face just a foot away from the butt of a rather large carved bear as he plugged into a working outdoor socket of a deserted, hoity-toity ski area.
