Wet, windy, and wild!Mercury woke up to rain and walked in torrential rain and high winds (complete w/nearby tornado warnings). Also, the trail was a stream most of the day.She walked across the Delaware Water Gap and into NJ around 7:30 am a solitary figure. She got wet and cold but donned three items of rain gear to become warm again, but not for making a fashion statement. However, Jupiter wore the wet T-shirt/sweat pants look all day and rocked it.The wind, swaying trees, falling branches, sideways sheets of rain made it less boring than the previous days.Mercury also had another 'regular' mama bear and her two cubs sighting. It cleared up towards mid-afternoon with wonderful, clear post-storm views.Mercury ended her day early to let her fabulous pruned feet dry out and recover.Out of NJ tomorrow and into NY!
